ALLISON, Mary Osborne - Putnam

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Eleanor Allison, 86, who died Thursday of last week at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edward W. Collamore, in Washington, D.C., were held at the residence Saturday, February 25. Mrs. Caroline Hutchins of near here is one of two surviving sisters, Eugene D. Hutchins of this place and Harold Hutchins of New York City, formerly of Roachdale, attended the funeral in Washington Sunday. Mrs. Allison was well known in Roachdale and was born in Indianapolis. She was a music teacher until her marriage to John A. Allison and after his death 26 years ago she went to Washington to make her home with her daughter. Ill health confined here much of the time and a few activities were concerned with the Presbyterian church, of which she was a member. Her last illness lasted about 15 months. Besides Mrs. Hutchins and Mrs. Collamore, Mrs. Allison is survived by a granddaughter, Miss Effie A.
