ALLISON, Charles L. - Putnam

Charles L. Allison who died on the 25th ultimo was one of the well-known citizens of Putnam County, having lived here about 40 years coming from Kentucky, his native place.  He was first a merchant then a farmer and subsequently a capitalist residing in the city. His age was 64 years and he leaves an estate of about $40,000 to his wife and her daughter by a former husband, Miss Clark, being childless himself (sic).  He had been blind for some years previous to his death.
