Whereas: it has pleased our Heavenly Father to call on that "unreturning journey" our beloved Neighbor and
Whereas: by the death of Neighbor Walter Allen there is a vacancy in our camp that can never be filled, a saddening of the spirit in the town that regarded him as one of its most loyal and patriotic citizens, a void in the family circle, where he was want to move with such cheerfulness and earnestness of spirit. Be it therefore

Resolved: that we extend to the bereaved wife and fatherless children in this their hour of great sorrow our heartfelt sympathy and may it be that He whose watchful eye doth note even the "sparrows fall" will watch over and care for them.  Be it further
Resolved that a coy of these resolutions be sent to the family of our departed Neighbor; that a copy be spread upon the records of Greencastle Camp No 3349 WMA (Modern Woodmen of America) and that a copy be published in the city papers.  FP Huestis, Chair; EA Hamilton, JO Cammack, Committee

Notice is hereby given that by an order of the Judge of the Circuit Court of Putnam County, Indiana, the undersigned will on Saturday the 3rd day of April 1909 at 10 o’clock a.m. at the Central National Bank in Greencastle, Indiana offer for sale at private sale for cash to the highest bidder the stock of goods and fixtures belonging to the estate of Walter Allen, deceased located at No. 206 College Avenue, Greencastle Indiana .The Central Trust Co of Greencastle, Indiana Administrator
