ALLEN, William T. - Putnam

William T. Allen, born September 14, 1858 near Fincastle, son of James and Pealina Allen, died December 22, 1934. He married Ella Ghormley on December 11, 1887, she died December 24, 1933. To this union was born three children; Bess B, Clay Co., Mrs. Arlie Bymaster, Near Ladoga, and Donald Allen of this community. Mr. Allen came to Roachdlae at the age of 21. Survivors besides the children are two granddaughters, Wanetta and Edna Ganell Bymaster; son in law Arlie Bymaster, three Sisters; Mrs Anna Alfrey, Ladoga, Mrs. Myrtle Huffman, Crawfordsville, one Brother, Robert E. Allen of Indianapolis. Allgood, Harold 9/29/1938 Harold Allgood, the son of Mrs. Geokerk of Fowler committed suicide Sunday afternoon. He was the nineteen year old son of Floyd Allgood formerly of this place. His mother obtained a divorce several years ago and remarried. The where abouts of the father is unknown. He is a brother of Gerald Allgood and is survived by a younger brother and a half sister.   --- thanks so much to Marilyn W for this
