ALLEN, Joe M. - 1923 - Putnam

Greencastle, Jan 30 – Joe M. Allen, age 70, former auditor of Putnam County died of heart disease yesterday at his home near here. Mr. Allen is survived by a widow; two brother, DC who lives near Greencastle and John of Quincy, Fla and the following sisters: Mrs. Lou Allen Baker, Clairmount, Cal; Mrs. Albert Albaugh, Greencastle; Mrs. OJ Kern, Berkeley, Cal; Mrs. HA Church, Topeka, KS; and Mrs. Frank Moore, Rochester, NY. Dr. HA Gobin of DePauw will officiate at the funeral services to be held at the Brick Chapel Church Wednesday. – kbz
