ALLEN, Dwight - Putnam

The death of Dwight Allen, age 60 years of Terre Haute, occurred at 5 o’clock Friday evening, relatives here were notified Saturday.  Mr. Allen formerly lived in Greencastle and was very well known here where he has many relatives.  He had suffered several strokes of paralysis and it is believed paralysis caused his death.  For the past 15 years Mr. Allen has resided in Terre Haute where he represented Bauer & Black, medical suppllies company of Chicago. For many years he was on the vaudeville stage as a song and dance man.  He was a cousin of Badger Williamson formerly of this city, but now living in Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held at the Elks’ Club in Terre Haute Monday afternoon at 4 o’clock with interment in Terre Haute. – kbz
