On Sept 27 at the family residence west of Bainbridge, Mrs. Alice Renick Allen wife of Mr. George Allen, died of puerparel convulsions, after a very short sickness in the 40th year of her age. Deceased was a lady of rare refinement and educational attainments of lovely disposition, bright, joyous and social and greatly beloved by large circle of friends. Her death is not only a sad blow to the loving husband and bereaved relatives; it is also a bereavement to her many friends, especially these of our young people who were connected with and learned to love and respect her during their years of school life. Funeral from the family residence Saturday morning at 10 o’clock; burial at Brick Chapel at 11:30. - kbz
