ALBIN, Fannie - Putnam

The death of Miss Fannie Albin, daughter of JC Albin who resides about one mile west of this city occurred yesterday morning at 3 o’clock. She appeared well during the day and in the evening had gone buggy riding with friends and returned home as well as usual. About 10 o’clock she complained of sickness and her mother administered some simple remedy which seemed to alienate her suffering and apprehended no further trouble. Fannie then went to bed as usual and about 12 o’clock awoke and called her sisters who got up and found her suffering intensely. After administering to her wants for some time without avail, they call the mother who discovered her daughter had been attacked by a congestive chill.  A physician was immediately summoned but before he could possibly reach her bedside her young life had passed out to the great unknown. - kbz
