After a serious illness of five months of a complication of diseases occurred the death of Mrs. Ethel Mae Albin, age 48 years, wife of Paul Albin, Sunday afternoon at 5 o’clock in her home on the east Washington Street Road.  Mrs. Albin’s illness began in December and she entered the Putnam County hospital for treatment for a number of week then was taken to the Methodist hospital in Indianapolis.  After all hopes were abandoned for her recover she was taken to her home where she remained until death occurred yesterday.  Funeral service will be Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock in the Christian Church with Rev. BH Bruner, pastor in charge.  Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery.  Mrs. Albin was born in Morgan County and has been a resident of Greencastle for the past 18 years, moving here with her husband and family from Indianapolis.  The husband and four children Wilmer, Clair, Edna Mae, and Catherine Ruth Albin all of this city survive.  Mrs. Albin was a member of the Christian Church and the Martha Washington club.  --- transcribed by  kbz

Funeral services for Mrs. Paul Albin, whose death occurred in her home east of Greencastle Sunday afternoon late, was this afternoon at 2 o’clock in the First Christian Church of which she was a member.  Rev.
