Mrs. Walter Brown of this city received a telegram Sunday stating that her mother, Mrs. Sarah Adams, who is with another daughter, Mrs. Pearl Van Valkenburg in Two Harbors, Minn is critically ill and is not expected to live for many days. Mrs. Adams had until a year ago resided here with Mrs. Brown. A son, Charles of Chicago, has gone to be with his mother. - kbz

Mrs. Walter Brown of this city has received a telegram telling her of the death in Two Harbors, Minn of her mother, Mrs. Sarah Adams, who was spending the winter in Two Harbors with her daughter, Mrs. Pearl VanValkenburg. The body will be brought to Greencastle, arriving here Thursday evening on the Monon. The body will be taken to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Brown and funeral will be held from their residence at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon. Besides Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Valkenburg there is another sister, Mrs. JM Laramore of Spencer and one son, Charley Adams of Chicago. Mrs. Adams had been a resident of Greencastle for many years and was one of this town's highly esteemed elderly women. - kbz
