The final report of the awards given at the second annual Putnam County Poultry show held last week has been made. Henry O’Hair sec of the Putnam Co Fanciers’ Association has prepared the following list of the prize winning birds.
Indian Runner Ducks – Mrs. Henry O’Hair, Bainbridge, 1st, 2d and 4th pullet 2d and 4th cockerel, best pair Loine Hadley, Amo, 3rd pullet and 4th cockerel.
White Plymouth Rocks – Mrs. Ida J. Wright, Bainbridge, 2d cock and 3rd cockerel, 1st and 4th hen, 2d, 3d and 4th cockerel, 2d pullet, ,1st pen.
Embiden Geese – Mrs. Ida J. Wright, 1st cock, 1st hen, 1st cockerel, 1st pullet.
White Holland Turkeys – Malcolm Allen, Knightsville, ,1st and 2d cock, 1st and 2d hen, 1st cockerel, 1st pullet.
White Rocks – Malcolm Allen, 1st cock, 3rd hen; 1st pullet, 2d and 3rd pen; Walter Evans, Greencastle, 1st cockerel and 2d hen/ Mrs. SC Perry, Fillmore, 4th pullet.
White Leghorns – Earl Bunten, Fillmore, 1st cockerel, 2d and 3rd hen, 1st cockerel, 1st and 3rd pullet, 1st and 3rd pen; CE Johnson, Greencastle, 2d, 3rd and 4th cockerel, 2d and 4th pullet; WW Gibson, 2d cock, 4th hen.
Single Comb Black Minoreas – Tas Gibson, Greencastle, 1st and 2d pullet.
Single Comb White Minoreas – JE Watkins, Greencastle, 2d cock, 1st and 2d hen.
Single Comb Buff Orphingtons – Lester Turner, Brazil, 1st and 2d cock, 2d cockererl, 1st and 2d pullet; Charles Hughes, Bainbridge, 1st, 2d and 3rd hen.
Single Comb White Orphingtons – Roy Abrams, Greencastle, 3rd cock; 1st pullet. Horses Pherson, Bainbridge, 1st, 2d and 4th Cockerel, 1st, 2d and 3rd hen; 2d and 3rd cockerel, 2d, 3rd and 4th pullet, 1st pen. Mr. Pherson also some find buff Orphington Ducks, winning 1st and 2d pair.
Single Comb Black Orphingtons – Charles Hughes, Bainbridge, 1st sock; CM Moffett, ,1st, 2d, 3rd and 4th cockerel, 1st 2nd, 3rd and 4th pullet, 1st pen.
Barred Plymouth Rocks – Henry O’Hair, Bainbridge, 2d and 3rd cock, 3rd and 4th hen, 2d and 3rd pen and best display which was the ten highest scoring barred rocks in show. Joe C. Collins, Bainbridge, 4th cock, 1st hen, 1st cockerel, 1st pull35, 1st pen. Lee Hall, Bainbridge, 2d hen; 2d and 3rd cockerel, 3rd pullet; Mrs. Anna L. Day, Fillmore, 4th cockerel.
