TOLIN, Bell _ SPRINGER, Ida - Putnam

At least we have a sensation.  It appears that Miss Ida Springer had been engaged for some time to Mr. Brewer of Greenwood.  He was here the beginning of the week and all the arrangements were made for the wedding to take place next Wednesday. In the meantime it seems the lady experienced a change of heart and yesterday left for St. Louis in company with Bell Tolin, a young man residing in her neighborhood.  They will be married there at the Laclide Hotel by Bishop Bowman if his services can be obtained   --- kbz
