Pedigo, Oma - WIllis, Charles 25 Jan 1896 - Putnam

New Albany Jan 25 – The marriage of Charles Willis, son of Rev. TH Willis, formerly of this city and now presiding elder of the Bloomington district and Miss Oma Pedigo of Bloomington which took place last Sunday became public today. The bride’s mother object to the marriage and they eloped to Jeffersonville. They visited in Kentucky after the ceremony and have returned to Bloomington to reside with Rev. Willis as the bride’s mother is still unrelenting and will not forgive them for running away.
