Neal-Grimes 1938 - Putnam

Miss Winifred R. Grimes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. WD Grimes and James Curtis Neal, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Neal were united in marriage Saturday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the First Christian Church.  The single ring ceremony was read by the Rev. HC Fellers. The bride wore a dress of blue lace with white accessories and a corsage of pink roses and baby’s breath.  Attendants were Miss Adrian Scobee and Robert Grimes, brother of the bride.  Others attending the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Grimes and Mrs. Neal.  Mrs. Neal is a graduate of Greencastle HS with the class of 1934 and a graduate of the Sanderson Business College.  For the past two years she has been employed at the local telephone office.  Mr. Neal, a graduate of the Clinton Center HS with the class of 1934 is a farmer. The young couple will reside on the Longden Farm in Clinton Township after June 15.
