Lewis, Albert - Lawrence Sparks 3-1-1930 - Putnam

Roachdale, March 4 – A quiet wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lewis last Saturday at 8:30 p.m. when their daughter Alberta was united in marriage to Lawrence Cavett Sparks of Indianapolis. The single ring ceremony was read by Rev. Clausen McKim, pastor of the Christian Church. Miss Marjorie Call presided at the harp, playing a short musical program, followed by Lohengrin’s Wedding March and I love You Truly. The bride is a graduate of Roachdale HS class of ’27 and also of the Indianapolis Compotomoter Business School. She has been with the state office of the Standard Oil Company for some months. Mr. Sparks is manager of the credit department and legal adviser for the same company.  After a short trip to Mississippi, home of the groom’s parents, they will be at home on north Alabama Street, Indianapolis – Crawfordsville Journal_Review.
