Promptly at 8 o’clock pm Tuesday evening the 24th inst, Elder OP Badger officiating clergyman followed by Luella Mathers and Theodore Kleinbub, Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Cook.  Emma Keifer and William Farr and the bride and bridegroom, Maggie Kleinbub and Charles Houghland entered the south parlor, where the marriage ceremony was performed in the presence of nearly 200 invited guests. The bride was costumed in a handsome garnet colored silk, trimmed in satin and for a headdress wore a wreath of orange blossoms.  Miss Emma Keifer sore a beautiful cream colored dress of French Buntin trimmed in satin.  Luella Mathers was dressed in white Swiss trimmed in flowers and ribbon and, being a little miss of only six, attracted a great deal of attention by her grace and beauty.  Mrs. Cook was dressed in black silk. The best of music was furnished by Elliott’s band.  The supper tables were ornamented in the best style known to our confections and bakers and refreshments were served of the best quality and in the greatest plenty from 8 to 11 o’clock.  As the band went to supper a few young ladies thought to furnish a little impromptu music but were disappointed when they found they had lost their tongues and mouth pieces (that is, the instruments had not the young ladies).  The friends in attendance showed their appreciation of the excellent qualities of the bride and groom by their many generous and valuable presents, a list of which we furnish as decidedly pleasant reading: Handsome chamber set, three pieces, bedstead, French dresser and wash stand, Conrad Cook and wife; Handkerchief and necktie, Ella Gates; Silver cake basket, A.  R Brattin; inland stand, Chas.
