On Tuesday last a number of relatives and friends assembled at the home of Mr. CB Bridges to witness the marriage of Miss Ella MH King of Putnamville and Mr. James W. Hymer of Roachdale. The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. James I. Hymer of Indianapolis. The bride was attired in a beautiful dress of mode colored glorious silk. The groom wore the customary black. While Miss Nora Walsh played the wedding march the wedding couple, preceded by their attendants and led by the officiating minister assembled in the parlor. In his quiet and genial manner, Rev. Henry Ashley pronounced the solemn ceremony which made the twain one. After the ceremony congratulations and good wishes were showed upon them. At 3:30 they took the train to Indianapolis. The bride is well known in this vicinity, having been a teacher in the Fincastle school for the past seven years. She is a lady of high culture, rare attainments, winning disposition and will lovingly share the joys and sorrows of her husband. Mr. Hymer who is one of Franklin’s most popular men is to be congratulated upon winning a lady of such sterling qualities. After April 1 they will be at home to their many friends at Grassland farm a mile west of Roachdale. – kbz
