Last Thursday morning was consummated the marriage of Mr. Daniel H. Patrick of Carmi, Ills formerly a student of Asbury University and Miss Nellie Hays, youngest daughter of BF Hays Esq of this city. The wedding took place at the residence of the bride’s parents, East Seminary Street the ceremony being performed by Elder OP Badger, assisted by Dr. EW Fisk. After the ceremony was pronounced, the young, handsome and we hope ever to be happy couple, received the hearty congratulations of relatives and friends assembled and then proceeded to the depot (the bride having been married in a very stylish and tasty traveling suit of blue and old gold) where they took the Vandalia train for Cincinnati. The bride and groom will take up their residence at Carmi, Ills where Mr. Patrick is engaged in mercantile pursuits. We tender congratulations with the hope that their years of married life will be many and happy.
