At Cloverdale Wednesday at two o’clock
occurred the wedding of Dr. John W. Sluss of Indianapolis and Miss Cora May
Hart, only daughter of Mr. Howard Hart. The wedding was the social event of the
season in Cloverdale, being a pretty home wedding in all its details. The
ceremony was pronounced by Dr. John Poucher of DePauw University. There were
about 30 guests present those from a distance being Dr. Charles Poucher,
Indianapolis; EE Sluss, Muncie; Mr. and Mrs. JS Harris, Spencer; Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Young, Roachdale; John S. and Miss Clara Sandy; Miss Mary Bickness, Allan
Brockway, Greencastle; Clarence Brown, Gosport; Mr. and Mrs. George Fox,
Reelsville. The happy young couple have many friends in Greencastle and the
county. Mr. and Mrs. Sluss drove immediately to this city taking the
Knickerbocker for Indianapolis where they will reside. - kbz
