Gunnel, Dorothy - Olaf Jenkins 1914 - Putnam

Standford University Aug 8 – Miss Dorothy Gunnell, one of the most accomplished graduates of Stanford University will be married on Monday at the home of her mother, Mrs. AJ Gunnell on Kingsley Avenue, Palo Alto to Olaf Pitt Jenkins, son of Prof. Oliver Peebles Jenkins of the Stanford University Histology and Physiology Department.  Miss Gunnell graduated last spring with high honors. She was editor of the Stanford Sequoia” during the last year and member of the Cap and Gown Society, English Club and Phi Beta Kappa fraternity.  Jenkins is a graduate of Palo Alta HS and registered in Geology and Mining at Stanford. The couple will make their home at Nashville, Tenn. (He was born Feb 9, 1889 in Greencastle son of OP and Lizzie Hester).
