Grimes, Betty - Lawrence Verplant - Putnam

Mr. and Mrs. Sherman E. Grimes 600 Shawnee Ave announce the marriage of their daughter, Betty Lou Grimes to Lawrence A Verplant son of M/M George Verplank 2426 Union St.  The marriage took place July 18.  The bride was graduated from Crawfordsville HS class of ’35.  Groom was graduated from Lew Wallace HS in Gary in 1932.  He attended Indiana University and is a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity.  Mr. Verplank is associated with his father in the Calumet Paving Company and he and his bride will reside in Greencastle. – kbz
