The wedding of Mrs. Sarah Thompson of this city and Mr. Charles A. Edwards of Roachdale occurred Wednesday at 8 o’clock at the residence of the bride’s mother on Jefferson street. The ceremony was performed by Elder Morris, before a large number of the friends of both bride and groom. The groom is a prosperous farmer having a large farm near Roachdale, where he and his bride will make their home. A wedding supper was served after the ceremony and a number of valuable presents were presented. Among those present from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Simpson of Carbon, Mr. and Mrs. Inman, of Roachdale and Miss Emma R. Herberts of Reelsville.
