A very pleasant wedding was celebrated at the residence of JF Carver east of this city Wednesday afternoon. The contracting parties were Miss Martha B. Durham of this city and Mr. Daniel W. Roundtree, a prosperous and popular merchant of Crawfordsville, Ind. The bride and groom entered the parlor short after 2:00 o’clock attended by Miss Lillie Stevenson and Mr. Will Durham, the bride’s brother, and Rev. JL Pitner pronounced the ceremony in a manner both pleasing and impressive, after which the large company assembled adjourned to the dining room and set down to a marriage feast in fact as well as in name. The bride was lovely in the traveling suit of brown and old gold silk, while the groom appeared to good advantage in the conventional suit of black.
