The following invitations have been issued: Mr. and Mrs. Simon Foxx request your presence at the marriage of their daughter Gertrude to George W. Crump Tuesday Dec 25 at 2 o’clock p.m. at their home, north College Avenue, Greencastle, Indiana, 1894.

On Christmas day at 2 o’clock p.m. occurred the marriage of George W. Crump and Miss Gertrude Foxx. The ceremony was pronounced by Elder AH Morris at the home of the bride’s father, Mr. Simon Foxx.  Mr. W.L. Williams and sister, Miss Mattie, were the attendants. There were a large number of friends and relatives present and refreshments were served after the ceremony.  Mr. and Mrs. Crump have furnished some rooms at the residence of Taylor Crump, father of the groom, where they go to housekeeping with the best wishes of their many friends. They received a number of elegant, useful and handsome presents, to which the Banner Times adds its best wishes for a long life of prosperity.
