Crodian-Obenchain - Putnam

Chas. F. Crodian and Maud A. Obenchain,  a happy young couple, left their homes in Fincastle, Thursday, bound for Greencastle, to unite their destinies and launch their bark on the matrimonial sea.  Near Brick Chapel they encountered an obstacle in the swollen floods of Dry Branch, but love laughs at floods as well as at locksmiths. Nothing daunted, cupid’s victims stood up on the buggy seat and drove through the foaming current, reached the city and were made happy by Squire Ashton. – transcribed by kbz
