Clark Samuel and Jennie Parish - Putnam

“Fillmore news” – Married in Fillmore at the residence of Mr. John Knight on Thursday March 25, Mr. Samuel W. Clark and Miss Jennie Parish. The attendants were Mr. LA Campbell and Miss Mollie Clark, Mr. Lemuel Albin and Miss Eva Prather. Among those present we noticed Mr. E Scobee of Brick Chapel; Miss Emma Cradick of Quincy, Mrs. JT Siddens and Miss Rosa Siddens of Greencastle, Mrs. Annie Goodwin of Malta and a number of others. The ceremony was impressively performed by Rev. Jesse Hill of Coatesville circuit.  After the ceremony the guests were entertained at the groom’s parents and a feast of good things invitingly spread was enjoyed by all.  The evening was characterized by congratulations to the happy couple, smiling face and pleasant jokes. May they live a long and happy life.
