Miss Mamie Cawley of this city will be married to John
Gainor of St. Louis next Wednesday. Miss Cowley is the daughter of John Cawley
of this city and is one of the most accomplished and charming young ladies in
Greencastle. Mr. Gainor has been for
some time a resident of St. Louis where he is employed by Monager Hill of the

Miss Mamie Cawley and John Gainer were united in marriage at
St. Paul’s Church yesterday morning. Will Murphy of Crawfordsville and Miss
Belle Cawley, sister of the bride acted as attendants. A reception was given at
the bride’s residence from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. when the happy couple left for
Nashville, Tenn on the Monon road. They will be at home at No 1716 Olive
street, St. Louis Mo after Jan 20th. The bride is a handsome young
lady and is noted for her kind disposition and pleasant manner. The following
guests attended from abroad: Misses Ella
Golden, Nellie Griffen, Nellie Welch, Nor and Ella Sullivan of Indianapolis;
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Dolan, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Vancleaver sic), Misses Magge, Kate
and Hannah Johnson, Misses Mamie and Maggie Lane of Crawfordsville; Miss Mary
Deery of Brazil; the Misses Maggie and Julia Lane and Albert Lane of Ladoga and
