ALLEN, B.F. - Angie Horn 3-27-1881 - Putnam

“Cloverdale” – On Wednesday March 23, at 7:30 p.m. Prof. BF Allen of the Cloverdale Normal and Miss Angie Horn were married at the ME Church.  The ceremony was performed by Dr. McNutt of Asbury University.  A grand reception was given the newly married couple at the residence of the bride’s father, Mr. Thomas Horn where a large number assembled to tender their congratulations to the happy pair and participate in the pleasures of the occasion.  An elegant repast composed of all the delicacies of the season and a most bountiful supply of substantial viands, was spread the well laden tables groaning under the weight of the feast and being accessible to the guests at all times through the night.
