Fillmore news – Married – at the residence of the bride’s father near Fillmore, Thursday evening, Feb 22 1883 by Elder JG Waggoner of Greencastle, Uriah W. Akers to Miss Shirley D. Springer.  After – congratulations the numerous guests were led to the dining room.  There be the family of the bride in her honor, had prepared an elaborate supper.  Neither menus nor skill had been spared to secure variety and quality.  We join, too in congratulations to this very worthy young couple – kbz
