REDD, Walter-Cora E Gentry - Putnam

On Sept 8 at the home of Rev. DL Vandament one miles east of Bainbridge occurred the marriage of his niece, Mrs. Cora E. Gentry to Walter Redd of Anderson. The house was prettily decorated with ferns and golden rod.  The bride was dressed in white organdie.  The attendants were Mr. CE Crawley of Greencastle and Miss Lutie Perry of Putnamville.  The ceremony was performed by Rev. DL Vandament at noon and was immediately followed by an elegant dinner.  Only a few intimate friends of the bride was present.  The happy pair soon appeared in traveling suits and took the train for Anderson where they will make their home. - kbz
