FERGUSON, Laura - John Sinclair Sept 1897 - Putnam

Rev. DM Wood returned this morning from Rockville where he united in marriage Mr. John L. Sinclair and Miss Laura A. Ferguson.  Mr. Sinclair is a native of Putnam County, his parents now living near Putnamville.  He is now a merchant in Rosedale, Parke County.  Miss Ferguson is one of Rockville’s most cultured young ladies. She served for one year as a member of the Greencastle District Epworth League cabinet. The marriage occurred at the home of the bride’s parents in Rockville.  After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served and the newly married couple started for a trip to Nashville, Tenn. After Sept 25 they will be at their home in Rosedale. - kbz
