Greencastle, Feb 2- ES Wallace better known to his hundreds of Putnam County friends as “Lige” Wallace, a life-long resident of Putnam County, a life-long democrat, farmer and stock buyer, is a candidate for the democratic nomination for sheriff.  Mrs. Wallace added his name to the constantly growing list of candidates by officially announcing his candidacy today in the Herald.  Mr. Wallace was born and reared in Mill Creek Township.  For the past 12 years he has been a resident of Greencastle. - kbz
