VICKERS, E., P. O. Harmony, Clay County, Ind., farmer, Section 30; was born February 24, 1812, in Gifford County, N. J.; son of Job and Ann VICKERS; settled in this county, in Madison Township, in 1825. Was married June 21, 1855, in Putnam County, to Elizabeth, daughter of Matthias J. and Nancy KILLION; born March 16, 1825; children's names: William H., born October 12, 1856; Nancy E., born September 18, 1863; James T., born October 223, 1860; Martha E., born January 13, 1863; George B., born November 11,1844, died June, 1867; Joseph N., born February 3, 1869. In 1844, Mr. VICKERS settled on his present home, where he has ever since carried on farming. He and his wife are members of the N. E. Church in good standing; politically, is a Republican.
