RIGHTSELL, Samuel - Matilda

Source: Greencastle Herald 22 Oct 1913 p 1

The troubles of Matilda Rightsell and Samuel Rightsell, two aged Washington Township people, which have been before the Circuit Court judge several times in the past few months have at last been adjusted.  Both Matilda Rightsell and Samuel Rightsell who are brother and sister are quite wealthy. Relatives have asked that guardians be appointed for each and recently a guardian was appointed for Samuel Rightsell.  A few weeks ago Howard Rightsell asked that a guardian be appointed for the sister but the case did not come to trail as a settlement was reached.  Under the terms of a settlement, Judge Hughes, entered record on the court docket finding that Matilda Rightsell was of sound mind and that there was no need of appointing a guardian. The troubles of the Rightsells were caused by some property disputes between themselves and relatives.  - kbz
