REEL, H. F., P. O. Reelsville, Farmer, Section 16; was born November 22, 1850, in Reelsville; son of William and Mary REEL, who settled in this county in 1826. He was married November 19, 1874, to Emma E. KEITH; they have two children - Lillian E. and William E. Mr. REEL is the grandson of John REEL, one of the first settlers of this county, and after whom the present town of Reelsville was named; he built that first mill here; also, the storehouse now occupied by George FOSTER; he died in 1856, at the age of sixty-three years; his son William, the father of H. F. REEL, died in 1877, aged fifty-nine years; when the family settled here neighbors were few and far between, and game of all kinds was abundant.
