MURPHY, (Sister) Mary Leontine - Putnam

Terre Haute, Ind July 29 - Requiem mass was celebrated here in the Conventual Church of the Immaculate Conception by Rev. Vincent Dwyer for Sister Mary Leontine, widely-known St. Mary-of-the Woods music teacher, who died Tuesday following a short illness.  Sister Mary Leontine died on the 48th Anniversary of her entrance into the novitiate. Sister Mary Leontine, formerly Anne Murphy, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Murphy, Greencastle, attended Greencastle schools and was graduated from the music department of DePauw University. - kbz
