MOSER, Hiram - Putnam

Hiram Moser, one of Putnam County’s grand old men was in town Wednesday and was a caller at the Herald office.  Mr. Moser, although 77 years old, is an active and heart as most men 20 years his junior. Mr. Moser, born and raised in Putnam County says it is the beauty spot of the world and good enough for any man to claim as his home. Just to show the members of his family and his farm hand that he is just as good physically as he ever was, Mr. Moser on December 19, which was his birthday anniversary, went to his maple grove, with his farm hand and assisted in sawing up a maple tree which had been blown down. “I sawed four cord of wood,” said Mr. Moser “today and to tell the truth, I was just a little bit tired when I got through!”
