Martha Ann Darnell and Lucinday Yates McKee are twin sisters, both widows of Putnam County, Indiana both residing near Greencastle. They are nearly 88 years old and have passed 65 years of their lives in the county named. Mrs. Darnell bore 11 children and Mrs. McKee 15. - kbz

Lucinda McKee and Martha Ann Darnell, of Bainbridge, are 81 years of age and are twins. They look alike; dress alike; were married within a year of each other and were widows within three months of each other. Mrs. McKee is the mother of 16 children and Mrs. Darnell of 14.

Just an FYI - here are pictures of the "girls," from their findagrave entries (both buried Brick Chapel). Lucinda died first 29 July 1899; Martha six years later 20 June 1905 - daughters of Joshua and Nancy Higgins Yates (Yeats)
