McILVAIN, M. M. - Putnam

McILVAIN, M. M. PO Putnamville, Cabinetmaker and Undertaker; was born Oct 28, 1831 in Adams Co PA near Gettysburg, son of James and ELizabeth McIlvain; he settle din Greencaslt this county June 1, 1854. Was married at Putnamville, May 15, 1860 to Catherine C. Clapsaddle; Mr. McIlvain is a good mechanic and is doing a thriving business having the patronage of the southern part of Putnam and part of Owen Counties; he is a member of the Methodist Church and active worker in the Sabbath school; as a citizen, he is upright in all dealings and enjoys the confidence of those who know him.
