HILLIS, S. H., P. O. Bainbridge, Farmer and Carpenter, Section 26; was born March 20, 1831, in this county; son of James M. and Elizabeth PATTON-HILLIS, who settled in this county in 1825. He married in Bainbridge, in 1853, E. M. DIERDORFF, by whom he has had ten children - Jerome, (deceased), Jerome (deceased), Minnie, Maggie, Cora, James, Lulu, John P., Nannie, Pearl.
