HEROD, J. W. - Putnam

JW Herod of Greencastle today announces his candidacy for the Democratic nomination for county clerk.  Mr. Herod comes from one of the oldest Democratic families in the county, his grandfather settled in Floyd Township in 1825.  He has been a life long resident of the county, having been engaged in farming as well as mercantile business in Greencastle.
