Note: Republican running for Judge of the Appellate Court, Southern Division -- Alfred Evens is engaged in the practice of law in Bloomington where he is a member of the law firm of Henley & Evens. He was born in Greencastle in 1881, attended the public schools there and later was graduated from DePauw University and the Indiana Law School. He did post graduate work at the University of Chicago. He is a lecturer in the Indiana University Law School at Bloomington. Mr. Evens is married.
