ERNHART, M. F. - Putnam

Ernhart M. F. PO Reelsville; farmer Section 32; was born December 21, 1819 in Washington County Indiana, August 15, 1827. Son of Henry and Jane Ernhart, the former, a native of North, the other South Carolina. who settled in this county in 1830 on section 31, of this town ship. He was married July 5, 1849, in this county, to Mary, daughter of Simpson and Isabel Harris and has five children, born as follows. Eva ( Now Mrs. McCurdy), December 9, 1850; Canada ( Now Mrs. Trindle) April 13, 1852; Scott, December 20, 1855; Ella ( Now Mrs. Brubaker) August 19, 1857; Belle, July 9, 1860; . Mrs. Ernhart's father is still living aged ninety-nine, enjoys good health,, and is the oldest man in the county. Mr. Ernhart has always been engaged in farming, but at present is giving his attention to fruit growing. Politically he is a Republican.
