DANIEL T. DARNALL, farmer, section 2, Monroe Township, was born in that township, on the old homestead on section 5, December 16, 1844. His father, Johnson Darnell, was born in Montgomery County, Kentucky, and settled in this county in 1833, and died in Bainbridge, January 9, 1876. Daniel T. was raised on a farm and educated in the common school and at Bainbridge Academy. >From 1872 until 1877 he was engaged in the mercantile trade at Bainbridge, and since that time he devoted his time to his farm. He was married, November 19, 1867, to Nancy f. Colliver, daughter of Samuel Colliver, of Monroe Township, and of their four children three are living--Leslie, Cora T. and Thomas. William died at the age of five years. Mr. Darnall is a member of the regular Baptist church. Mrs. Darnall was born in Clark County, Kentucky.
