CLINE, Henry, PO Ashby's Mills, Farmer Sec 12 was born Shelby Co KY June 16, 1810; son of Jacob and Elizabeth Yount Cline, natives of SHe3lby Co settled in this township and county 1841. Married June 2 of the same year, Julya ANn bell born in Shelby Co KY May 15, 1815; their children's names are: David (deceased) ; Jane; John; Robert; Margaret and Julia Ann. Mrs. Cline died Feb 26, 1850. Married Jan 10, 1854 Eliza S. Brown born April 6, 1820 died Jan 2, 1860 having borne one boy, Benjamin. His present wife, Barbara Ann Weddle, widow of Andrew Weddle and daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth Apple married Nov 13, 1860. She was born in OH Nov 20, 1819 and by her 1st marriage had 7 children; has born Mr. Cline two William (deceased) and Joseph. Mr. Cline is of German descent; his father and mother's father were soldiers in the Indian wars of KY. He now owns 300 acres the result of his own and family's industry; is storngly in favor of the temperance movement and does what lies in his power to advance it. Politically he is Democrat. Few are better known in the county for honesty and sincerity of purpose.
