"This is a picture of my grandpa and grandma Tully and Laurene Buxton in front of LaDon theatre in Roachdale, they used to own it, this I believe was taken at the grand opening I think this was taken late 1940s. The name Ladon came from my grandma Laurene and my mom Donna."

The poster behind them is for "FOLLOW THAT WOMAN", released December 14, 1945. If the LaDon was playing first run movies then this photo had to have been taken near that date.-RK
