BOYD, Tiberius S. PO Putnamville, Farmer and Potter, Sec 22; born July 18, 1833 in Warrick Co IN son of Alfred and Elinor Condit-Boyd; settled in this county 1852. Married Aug 31, 1856 Mary C. Perry; children: Lowndes S. born April 27, 1857; Sarah E. Aug 11, 1858; Veturia E March 27, 1862; John A. April 1, 1865 died March 15, 1866; Chalres C. Nov 1, 1869. In 1852, Mr. Boyd entered the Indiana Asbury University; studied 4 terms then left for MN, with the intention of settling there; preempted 160 acres of land in Le Sueur County and lived ther for two years after his marriage; since then, has resided in this county and for the last ten years, has been engaged in the pottery trade. Mrs. Boyd was born and grew to womanhood in this county; is the sister of Hezekiah H. and Isaac S. Perry. She and her husband are members of the ME Church in good standing.
