ALLEN, Lutitia - Putnam

Mrs. Allen resides on East Washington Street in Greencastle and was born Jan 8, 1808 in Kentucky near the city of Paris.  She was married to John S. Allen who was a playmate and schoolmate of hers.  They moved to this county about 59 years ago.  She is the mother of but one child, a son, Thomas O. Allen with whose widow she now makes her home.  Her husband died 32 years ago.  During her 59 years’ residence in this county she had lived at Fillmore and in this city.    ~~~Transcribed and Typed by kbz
