This old Pioneer grave yard is located in Section 31, in the south-west corner of Cass township. It is west of Medaryville on county road 200N to the Jasper-Pulaski county line; north 1/4 mile; and is on the farm of Richard Sholz, east across a pasture. It is in deplorable condition, having been damaged by cattle and ground hogs. Supposedly there are as many as 30-35 graves there, I (Zera Hansell Howe) was able to read but 12, and no doubt the other markers are lying, broken, under the ground. Land abstracts refer to it as the Noggle Cemetary. Richard Noggle was one of the very first settlers in Cass township; also Benjamin Archer and Henry Long were quite early in the area. Read in 1971 by Zera Hansell Howe. Information from the Pulaski County IN Recorder's Office: Misc. Book B p311, and Deed Book 41 pg 39 and 130. Unfortunately we are no longer able to access this cemetery so any further readings can not be taken. If you have any information on possible burials at this site that are not listed please let the Pulaski County Genealogical Society know.
