2 | Cemetery Notes: This Cemetery is located in Jefferson Township, Section 21. It is South of 150 S on State Road 39. This cemetery was on privately owned property until 1977 when it was turned over to the Jefferson Twp. trustee. Idle is now a civil cemetery maintained by the trustee. The oldest stone has a death date of 1856 and another in 1860. This spot wasn't used again until the early 1900's. Since the year 2000, it has been 'found' as a cemetery and has doubled in size. The entire cemetery was read from the northeast corner going south; then back to the north and step west for next row. | ||||||||||||||||||
